Club Programs

These clubs will provide professional coaching for stroke technique, dives, starts and turns plus develop the necessary physical skills required to succeed in leadership courses.

SEA DRAGONS STROKE PROFICIENCY CLUB

The Sea Dragons Stroke Proficiency Club is designed for youth ages 7-14yrs looking to transition into the full Sea Dragons Swim & Lifesaving Club, and/or those hoping to improve their stroke technique and endurance. The program will focus on personal bests and set youth up for success in the full Swim & Lifesaving Club and/or achieving their individual goals. Swimmers will be coached by the same Sea Dragons coaches that work with the full club, and will have the option to participate in the mini meet at the end of the season.
 
Pre-requisite:  All swimmers must be able to swim 50m of a recognizable stroke and then tread water for one minute, all in deep water without assistance.

Dive into the ultimate aquatic experience with the Sea Dragons Swim & Lifesaving Club! Designed for youth aged 9-17, our recreation club is perfect for those looking to enhance their swimming skills while embracing the excitement of Lifesaving Sport. Whether your passion lies in perfecting your stroke technique, building speed and endurance, or mastering lifesaving skills, our experienced coaches are here to guide you every step of the way.
 
Our dynamic program blends the best of swim training and lifesaving; offering opportunities to refine strokes, improve dives, starts, turns, and develop the skills needed for Lifesaving certifications from the Lifesaving Society. We emphasize personal-best achievement, and having fun in a supportive environment. With recreational swim meets and lifesaving events, you’ll enjoy the thrill of competition without the pressure.
