Fitness History and Experience
Starting from an early age, I’ve always been involved with fitness. Growing up, I had the opportunity to play many sports at a high level. Basketball being my favorite, with track and field as well as volleyball coming in after.
Being involved in so many high level sports before graduating high school, I had the opportunity to train with some of the best trainers in Manitoba. This really opened my eyes to understand body mechanics and how training can immensely help you get ahead of your sport.
I’ve pursued basketball after high school and had the chance to play post-secondary. I have won multiple awards while playing basketball, one being the ACAC North Rookie of the Year.
I became a Personal Trainer to try and help other individuals reach their fitness goals and visualize their true potential of what their body is capable of.thing with a ball. I realized early on that training hard and eating the right types of food made a big difference, and with this experience it was easy for me to choose sports nutrition and personal training as my profession.
Something Interesting About Yourself
Pursuing basketball has given me the opportunity to travel all over Canada. Originally from the North-end of Winnipeg, I have lived in the provinces of Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
Trainer Philosophy
As a personal trainer, I am committed to planning an individualized program that will help my clients not only reach their goals, but realize their full potential not only physically but mentally as well.
I believe in efficient movement patterns to find quality results. By understanding the body, knowing the muscles line of pull and other factors, I hope my clients will not only reach their goals but will have an understanding on why the exercise or movement was chosen.
My training style focuses on function and performance, while trying to understand the purpose of given exercise and how it will translate to their goals.
