Fitness History and Experience
Brett has over 15 years of experience as a personal trainer and has worked with clients across a wide range of ages, abilities, and fitness levels. His approach combines strength training, movement quality, injury prevention, and progressive exercise programming to help clients improve how they move, feel, and perform.
Whether the goal is building strength and muscle, improving overall fitness, losing body fat, working around previous injuries, or simply becoming more confident in the gym, Brett focuses on developing a practical and sustainable plan tailored to the individual.
Trainer Philosophy
Every client begins with an assessment to establish a clear starting point. Through a comprehensive movement screen, Brett identifies areas of strength as well as potential mobility limitations, muscular imbalances, or movement patterns that may need attention.
From there, he develops an individualized training program based on the client’s assessment, goals, experience, and abilities. Training is progressed gradually as the client improves, with an emphasis on proper technique, measurable progress, and long-term results.
Brett believes effective training should do more than simply make a workout difficult. The goal is to continually improve strength, movement, fitness, and overall health while giving clients the knowledge and confidence to maintain those improvements over time.
Trainer Fun Facts
Brett is a big basketball fan and a regular user of the cold tub. There is a good chance you’ll find him doing one or the other when he’s at MNP Community & Sport Centre!
