  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW, UofC)
  • Fitness Alberta – certified exercise professional (AFLCA)
  • Advanced certificate in Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace (UFred)
  • Certifications in CPR/First Aide/ AED, Mental Health and Psychological First Aide


Instructor History & Experience:
I first became a certificate exercise professional (fitness instructor) in 2004! I have taught group exercise classes at a range of different gyms over the 17 years, including Fitness Plus, the Calgary Winter Club, the YWCA and Repsol. Athletics have been part of my life since I was young – I feel fortunate to get to continue that path through group fitness classes!

Why I love being an instructor:
I love being an instructor as it connects me with my fitness family! Repsol is an inspiring place to teach – there are so many options for people to explore their fitness – everyone moving at their own pace! Exercise is one of my favorite self-care strategies – it recharges me physically and mentally. I enjoy sharing that energy with others and supporting others in their wellness journeys.


Fun fact about yourself:
I love the mountains and find the journey of immersing myself in “mountain therapy” rejuvenating!

STEAM ROOM is CLOSED due to maintenance

MNP Community & Sport Centre is offering Jasper evacuees free drop-in admission to our facility until it is safe for them to return home. We ask that guests from Jasper check in with our Customer Service team with a valid photo ID and/or proof or residency.

CUSTOMER ALERT: As of August 6, our South Entrance will be closed for about 2.5 years and construction fencing will be placed around approximately 75% of the facility. Therefore during the course of construction, all patrons will enter and exit the Centre through the North Entrance.

IMPORTANT: In order to complete critical infrastructure work required for expansion, MNP Community & Sport Centre, Jugo Juice and Good Earth will temporarily close starting August 29 for approximately 14 days. While this is our best estimate, we will make every effort to reopen as soon as possible, while keeping you updated during this time.
