Format:

Double Elimination Tournament:
Each team must lose twice before being eliminated.

Here’s how it works:

Initial Matches: All teams start in the Division 1 bracket and compete against each other

Division 1 Bracket: In the Division 1 bracket, participants continue to compete, and those who win keep advancing. If a participant loses a match in this bracket, they are not eliminated from the tournament, they move to the Division 2 bracket for a second chance.

Division 2 Bracket: Teams in the Division 2 bracket compete to stay in the tournament. If they lose a match in the losers’ bracket, they are eliminated from the tournament. However, if they win, they continue advancing within the losers’ bracket.

Bracket Convergence: As the tournament progresses, the winners of the Division 2 bracket meet the final participants remaining in the winner’s bracket. This can lead to a final showdown where the participants from the Division 1 bracket need to lose twice (once in the final, once in the rematch if necessary) to be eliminated, while the participants form the Division 2 bracket must win twice to claim the championship.

Finals: The final match (or matches) determines the overall winner. If the participants from the winners’ bracket win the final match, they win the tournament. If they lose, a rematch is held to give participants one loss each, and the winner of the rematch is crowned the champion.

Note: Please ensure that your paddle is USA Pickleball approved
