We are honoured to support and connect with the Triathlon Alberta, a non-profit organization acting as the provincial governing body in multisport events throughout Alberta. Triathlon Alberta provides support for Athletes, Race Directors, and Technical Delegates in the province. By developing and delivering services for members, Triathlon Alberta ensures safety, fairness, and fun at Triathlon Alberta sanctioned events.

Calgary Sport & Social Club
The CSSC was established in 1996 and has been providing adults with the best co-ed, multi-sport experience ever since. The CSSC has grown to host over 5,300 teams each year, serving over 120,000 Calgarians since inception. With year-round leagues, tournaments and events for adults, there are so many ways to get in the game!
Calgary Adapted Hub
Calgary Adapted Hub is a collective of Calgary-based organizations committed to providing quality sport and recreation opportunities for children, youth, and families living with disabilities in the city of Calgary. The collective is supported by Canadian Tire Jumpstart.
The Hub was founded in 2020 to make sport and recreation more inclusive for children, youth, and families living with disabilities that are physical, intellectual, sensory, developmental, or otherwise. We are made stronger by the contributions of our partners, each of which is a leader in the field of adapted sport and recreation with their own area of expertise. From innovative programming to ground-breaking research, they aspire to be at the forefront of disability servicing. Partners include: The University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, City of Calgary Recreation, Sport Calgary, Vivo for Healthier Generations, MNP Community & Sport Centre, and WinSport.
Calgary Surge
The Canadian Elite Basketball League unveiled its newest franchise in Calgary on October 19, the Calgary Surge. The team will begin play when the 2023 season tips off in May, with WinSport Event Centre serving as the team’s home.
Usman Tahir Jutt and Jason Ribeiro were introduced as the duo who are bringing pro-basketball to Calgary.
The Calgary franchise originated as the Guelph Nighthawks in 2018, one of the six founding members of the CEBL. The organization was relocated from the league’s smallest market to Calgary in August as part of the growing league’s business strategy to have teams in Canada’s largest metropolitan areas.

With professional soccer returning to the Alberta foothills, the Club’s identity needs to reflect Calgary’s collective spirit and willingness to confront any obstacle, and any challenge.
The club’s home venue has been selected, a venue known for champions; having produced Olympians, World Cup and PanAmerican Gold Medalists, all of whom have proudly worn the Maple Leaf. The venue is deeply rooted in family values and great sporting tradition. Its iconic grass stadiums are associated with the world’s best horsepower and a famous military regiment. That venue is Spruce Meadows.
