February 9, 2022
The Alberta Government announced the removal of the Restrictions Exemption Program effective February 9, 2022. As a result, MNP Community & Sport Centre will no longer be requiring proof of vaccination to enter the facility.
As always, safety of our Members, Sports Partners, guests and employees is our top concern therefore we will still be recommending safe physical distancing, enhanced cleaning procedures and frequent hand washing.
Participants in indoor classes, training and competitions are still required to screen for symptoms and stay home if any are present.
We will continue to monitor our processes to ensure we are providing a safe environment for all of our Members and participants.
On March 1, Alberta will enter Step 2 of lifting public health measures which includes the removal of the provincial mask mandate. At the same time, the City of Calgary mask bylaw will also be repealed.
MNP Community & Sport Centre (RSC) will continue to follow the advice and recommendations of the Alberta Government, Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer and The City of Calgary and as such, masks will no longer be required for guests of RSC beginning March 1st. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask we encourage and support your choice.
Please note mandatory isolation requirements are still in effect and it is the responsibility of each individual to follow the current guidelines.
RSC will maintain thorough cleaning procedures and will encourage guests to engage in all the healthy practices that were adopted during the pandemic. Isolation and quarantine requirements - https://www.alberta.ca/isolation.aspx
We look forward to seeing all of your faces again under the tent.
COVID-19 Isolation/Quarantine Requirements Reminder
It is the responsibility of each individual to adhere to the current isolation/quarantine requirements issued by the Government of Alberta for your situation. In particular, due to the activities offered at our facility we would like to remind everyone of the following requirement:
Fully vaccinated: Minimum of 5 days from the first day of symptoms or until symptoms resolve, whichever is longer. Following isolation, wear a mask at all times when around others outside of home for up to 5 more days (10 total). This means you must eat or drink alone, away from others.
In relation to our facility this means, that for the five days following isolation, masks are required while engaging in physical activity. If you are unable to wear mask during your workout, including the aquatics area, you must refrain from visiting the facility during this timeframe.
